Created in 1972 by Edmond Roudnitska, Diorella is the feminine counterpart to Eau Sauvage. A fragrance of freedom, independence, and youth, it reflects Christian Dior's joyful spirit. Its trail evokes the melody of jasmine and violet, enhanced by oakmoss and wrapped with fruity notes. The Dioriginals collection brings together the House of Dior’s emblematic signatures, restored by Francis Kurkdjian, Perfume Creative Director. He set out to recover the fragrances’ original formulas, presented in the 1948 bottle that once housed Christian Dior’s first iconic creations.

A chypre accord that captures the free spirit of the 1970s. Diorella was so revolutionary it inspired a generation of perfumers. Its distinctive cumin note opens into a fruity floral heart where jasmine and violet intertwine with the velvety softness of peach. Vetiver and oakmoss accords weave in a woody depth, for a trail as bold and lasting as the era it defined.

The bottle
The ‘Oval’ bottle
The Dioriginals are presented in the 1948 "Oval" bottle, which has housed them since their creation. It is now adorned with a refined, textured label that recreates the oval design, framed by a striated metallic ring engraved with the "CD" monogram.
